Nordbib evaluated by Duke & Jordan Ltd.

Nordbib asked British consultants Duke & Jordan Ltd. to conduct a thorough evaluation of the Nordbib programme with a special emphasis on Nordbib's intended cost-effective management and funding model. The consultants point to some initial difficulties in the structuring and processes of Nordbib but that the programme ultimately has given excellent value for money, that Open Access is a timely and worthy subject area, that Nordbib has uncovered a particularly Nordic perspective on Open Access and that valuable networks have been formed between Nordic institutions with the same missions and challenges. A continuation of the programme is warmly recommended.
